NuStep 5K Run & Walk

The NuStep 5K (3.1 mile) Run & Walk is a great way for the whole family to take part in the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run! The new out and back course still features the scenic beauty of Huron River Drive. There are some serious 5K runners in this event, but there are plenty of joggers, walkers, and families in the field as well. Staging Area The event now starts and finishes at Ann Arbor's new Skyline High School, located at 2552 North Maple Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Parking at Skyline is limited.  Carpooling is encouraged! IMPORTANT Race numbers and timing chips will NOT be available at the staging area. See Packet Pick-up for information on where and when to obtain your race materials.

Important Safety Rule

Due to a steep down hill on Bird Road:

• Wheelers are NOT allowed in this event. Wheelers are welcome in both the 10K and the half marathon.
• 5K runners are NOT allowed to push strollers. 5K walkers may push strollers, but in addition to the steep down hill, aware that part of Bird Road is not paved. Strollers may be pushed by both runners and walkers in the 10K and the half marathon.

New - Non-Competitive Fun Run Division

Interested in participating in the 5K Run & Walk but not so crazy about having your age and time posted for the world to see? If so, simply sign up for the 5K Fun Run. Participants in the "Fun Run" get to enjoy the same scenic course, great atmosphere, and post-race food as the competitive runners. The only difference is that their times will not be taken or posted.

Aid Stations

Water will be served at a single aid station, located near the two-mile mark. A "port-a-potty" is available at this aid station.

Field Limit

The 5K Run & Walk is limited to 2000 participants. Register now!
