The official training program of the Dexter-Ann Arbor run is Running Fit 501, headed by Coach Gina of Two Dogs Running. As the Two Dogs site says, "The main focus of the program is fun. And nothing but fun you will have when you run on Coach Gina's creative uphill courses that seem to never go downhill! The coach has a reputation for making you work till you are "dog-tired", and getting you "doggedly" tuned to your training program. But in spite of the hard work, the program does see a lot of wagging tails at the end of each season."
